  • Can control up to 24 VCRs via 8 individual Control_S ports (each VCR can selectively respond to one of three addresses)
  • Can encode/decode SMPTE Vertical Interval Time Code as well as Closed Captioning
  • Two graphics overlay generators can be genlocked to separate video sources for field time-code insertion
  • Graphics includes two fonts, one of which conforms to Closed Captioning systems
  • Special effects include fades and wipes generated by either graphic generator or by the internal luminance detector

  • Communicates with other components in the system via RS-232 serial interface and the serial HUB
  • Provides "intelligent" services for older, directly controlled switching elements
  
  
• AUDIO MIXER
  • Built-in 4 channel digitally controlled mixer is calibrated in 0.2db steps over a range of -60db to +12db in gain mode
  • Mixer channels also have Automatic Level (ALC) mode with programmable target levels from 50mv to 1.2V rms
