was founded in 1987 by a working DJ. From then until 2000 he continued to work in a variety of different settings, accumulating a large and varied music collection.
However, since retiring from the club scene SoundWare Associates no longer rents music to the general public. Old time associates still are welcome to drop by to look for a rare song, or just to chat.

Public performance of recorded music requires a public performance license obtainable from ASCAP and BMI. SoundWare Associates supports artists and believes they deserve their royalties. We, therefore, make every effort to ensure that clubs and individuals leasing music or subscribing to our music services have obtained proper licenses.
